After graduating from high school in Grodno, he entered the Odessa art College. In 1920 with a group of Russian artists, he went to Berlin.
In addition to professional occupations, which not always brought the bread, he worked as an extra, playing the violin in cinemas, that is, do everything in order to survive and to do what he likes.
In 1923 Lubich receives the order to design a Parisian cabaret in Montmartre, and settles in Paris, in the Montparnasse quarter. Being the capital, is reputed to be a trendsetter, he studied the works of Rembrandt, Goya and Degas.
Landscapes, portraits, genre paintings and still lifes, etchings... the Artist works in oil and gouache, is engaged in engraving. Leaves nothing for himself, exhibited in the National Museum Betsalel in Jerusalem, Milan, Turin (1953) and new York. Participates in group and solo exhibitions, including the exhibitions "Russian artists of the Paris Skoda" in the Museum of Saint-Denis and in the House of French thought in Paris at the Galerie Motte.
Today paintings by Ossip Lubitsch stored in the museums of the French province, and also in museums in London, Zurich, new York and tel Aviv. The engravings are in the collection of the National library in Paris.
