Born in Palekh. Member of artel of ancient painting since 1929. Teacher - A. I. Vatagin. Died in 1943, buried in Palekh.
Engaged in painting of porcelain. Themes of works: folklore, literature, genre scenes. Participated in exhibitions since 1933. Work E. A. Caravania are stored in museums: gmpi, the DEM, the all-Russian Museum of A. S. Pushkin "Moika 12".
