Biography and information
Born in Palekh. Studied and worked in icon painting workshop. In 30-ies he worked in the Artel of ancient painting. He died in 1939, buried in Palekh.
Themes of works: folklore, literature, genre scenes. Work N.D.Caravania are stored in the Russian Museum of A. S. Pushkin "Moika 12".
