Graduated from the VKhUTEMAS-Vkhutein in 1929. (He studied with Professor N. Of kupreyanov, the drawing were P. Miturich, P. Lvov).
Together with the Krylov and N. A. Sokolov, from 1924 worked in the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda", "Literaturnaya Gazeta", "Pravda", magazines "Spotlight," Crocodile", "Onion", "Change", in the years of the great Patriotic War in the "Windows TASS".
