Lived and worked in St. Petersburg. Studied at Drawing school of OPKh in St. Petersburg, continued his artistic education at the Academy of arts in the workshop of A. Kuindzhi. From 1897 to 1918 he exhibited his works at the Spring exhibitions in the halls of the Academy of arts in St. Petersburg from 1904 to 1924 — at the exhibitions of St. Petersburg society of artists, the Society named AIKuindzhi, Association of artists and others.
