Veniamin

(1888, Bryansk – 1956, Moscow).

He studied at the painting Department of the Moscow school of painting at the K. Korovin, S. V. Malyutin, Konstantin Yuon (1908-1915).

Worked as an inspector of the state Higher workshops in the fine arts Department of the people's Commissariat of education, and instructor of fine art at the Khamovniki Council of Moscow (1918-1922).

He taught at the Moscow izotehnikum "Memory of 1905" (1932-1935), the Moscow Textile Institute (1935-1941), the Moscow polygraphic Institute (1945-1949).

Participant of exhibitions from 1911 Exhibited at the first exhibition "Jack of diamonds". He was a member of "Amcha" (1927-1932).

Solo exhibitions were held in Moscow in 1934, 1936 and 1947, were Exhibited at international exhibitions in Berlin, Bern, Antwerp.

During the evacuation he became the founder of the Kemerovo fine art gallery.

Works of the artist are in the Department of private collections Pushkin Museum. Of A. S. Pushkin.
