In 1945-1950 he studied at the Palekh art school. Since 1950 worked in the Association of Palekh artists.
Themes of works: folklore, genre scenes. Participant of exhibitions from 19 ? year. The work of V. D. Makinoi (Belova) is stored in the Ivanovo regional art Museum.
