Born in Palekh. Hereditary painter, son of M. I. and M. P. Semanovich. In 1968-1973 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - N.M.Zinoviev, A. V. Borunov, A. V. Kovalev. In 1973-1989 years, he worked in the Palekh art-production workshops.
Themes of works: folklore, literature. Participant of exhibitions since 1975.
A. M. Shemarova are stored in museums: the State Museum of Palekh art, the Ivanovo regional art Museum.
