Student Of The Academy Of Arts. In 1854 he received 2 silver medals; in 1862 the title of a free artist. Librarian of the A. I. H. in collaboration with V. F. Ewald was "a Note on the establishment of teacher training courses at I. A. H." and in 1879 was their first instructor. (Kondakov)
