Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. He was born in Odessa. In 1939 – 1949 he studied at the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture of the AI of the USSR named after I. Repin in Leningrad with B. Johanson, A. Zaitsev. Taught at OXY from 1949 until 1957. The honored worker of arts of the USSR since 1967.
