Born in the village of Bornukovo Nizhny Novgorod province in 1917. He graduated from the Moscow art school. M. I. Kalinin (1935-1940) and the Institute. I. E. Repin arts of the USSR (1947-1953). Works in the portrait genre and monumental sculpture.
