Born in the city of Izyum, Kharkiv region, Ukraine, in 1918, the Initial art education has received in the Palace of pioneers of the Bauman district of Moscow at the teacher V. N. Ruza. From 1937 to 1939 and from 1946 to 1948 he studied at the Moscow regional art school memory 1905, the teachers of N. P.Krymov, N. And.Lviv, P. I. Petrovicheva, I. P. Ivanov - Ratkevich, D. I. Sokolov, G. G. Ryazhskaya, V. A. Ayvazian. Since 1949 he lived and worked in Irkutsk, collaborated with the East - Siberian book publishing house. From 1950 he taught at the Irkutsk art College, among his students - N. E.Zhitkov, N. P.Basharin, A. M. Ants. Worked in the Irkutsk theatre of musical Comedy and the puppet theatre. A member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1956
