Honored worker of arts of Russia.

Born in the village Casino Tambov region In 1971 he graduated from the art faculty of VGIK (I. Ivanov-Vano). Since 1970 works as an art Director at to/from "Mosfilm". Since 1989 he teaches at the art faculty of VGIK. The prize of the President of France for the best postage stamp, dedicated to the 800th anniversary of "Word about Igor's regiment" at the International philatelic salon in Paris (1985).
