Biography and information

Born in the city of Bereznyaki in the Perm region.

In 1986 he graduated from art-graphic faculty of the Chuvash state pedagogical Institute. I. Yakovlev.

From 1982 to 1988 he was a volunteer at the Academy of fine Arts Saint - Petersburg, workshop of E. E. Moiseenko.

In 1990, admitted as a member of the Union of artists of Russia. Since 2004 member of the international Federation of artists.

Elena Komarova is the participant of large Russian and foreign exhibitions, her works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.

At the present stage of a creative way of the artist dominates the painting, similar in their Outlook to impressionism. Color scheme based on soft combinations of ochre and blue, stroke texture, formed a unique style of painting, which absorbed a great creative experience in the field of decorative-applied art. Attraction to impressionism, to the transfer of light-air environment, enveloping, blur the clear outlines of buildings and human figures, typical of early paintings ("In the bath"), and the landscapes of recent years made by the author during the creative trips to Italy and France. Elena has literally got used to architectural images of medieval cities, thoughtfully comprehending their peculiarity. The originality of their beauty refracted in a deeply personal perception has led to the fact that the artist has created such an amazing series like "Venice" and "Paris", filling us with a sense of the poetic beauty of these cities gave birth to many legends and literary associations, as for example in the poem of Anna Akhmatova "Venice":
