Graduated from Art faculty of Moscow Textile Institute in 1951.
Her teachers were: Professor p. P. Pashkov, E. K., Arkhangel'skaya, L. V., Rosenthal, M. V. Shugaev, F. S. Yastrzhembsky, N. G. Petrov, V. V. Pochitalov, B. L. Zakaznov.
After graduating from MIT, she was left in graduate school, then taught drawing, painting and composition of the costume during the 30 years from 1955 to 1985
He defended his thesis on "Folk traditions in the simulation of clothes". Academic degree: candidate of art criticism and academic rank of associate Professor. A member of the Union of artists of the USSR since 1971.
Has written two books. One of them called "Folk traditions in the simulation of clothes" describes the experience of works of Soviet artists for half a century – 1918 to 1968 the Book was published in 1974.
In another book – "Modeling clothes" - refers to the creation of new forms of clothing according to the laws of artistic creation. The book was published twice, in 1981 and 1982.
For seven years from 1957 to 1963 along with teaching at MIT, he worked as an artist in the House Models of Gum. Creative model G. S. Gorina was shown at the international exhibitions in the national collections of leading houses of a models Union in new York in 1958, in Montreal in 1959, in Brussels, in 1961 and in Cairo, Prague, Warsaw, Ulan Bator, Berlin and other cities (60 years).
Paintings, drawings and costume of the composition was exhibited at the annual and thematic exhibitions of Moscow artists since 1971 to 1991.
From 1987 to 1990 G. S. Gorin attended the annual screenings of new forms of costume "Tallinn fashion days" in Estonia.
In 1991, the clothes on the theme of "Gzhel" was shown at the world Trade Center in Moscow, on red Presne.
With great success held a Creative evening in the Central house of artists on Krymsky Val in 2003, personal exhibitions of the artist in the Exhibition hall of the city of Solnechnogorsk in 1999 and 2007. Work has also been exhibited at the Regional exhibition in 2010.
Teaching activities, teaching experience, constant creative work of G. S. Gorina contributed to the training of qualified specialists – artists, successfully working in different fields: in industry, in the movie, in theaters, on television, in the individual creativity of a fashion suit.
Currently the artist lives and works in city Solnechnogorsk.
