Biography and information

Was born in 1943. in Paris in a family of Russian immigrants. Until 1958, lived and studied in France and Italy, then moved to Leningrad, where he lived until graduating from high school. In 1968. graduated from the physics faculty of Moscow state University, majoring in marine Geophysics. For ten years he worked as a researcher at the Institute of Oceanology, USSR Academy of Sciences and from 1973 to 1976. he was chief of the white sea Expedition.

• In 1978 he returned to France, worked as a technical translator, and in 1986 moved to Italy to the village of Murazzano in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont, where he lives and works as a professional artist.

• Attended a course of painting in Rome (1957-58гг), in the Sukhumi art school (1960) and the municipal drawing courses for adults in Paris (1979-82гг). In 2000 he became a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. From 1978 worked in the technique of dry pastels. Had more than 60 solo exhibitions in Italy, France, and Russia.

• Organized and conducted the international exhibition "Europastel" in Piedmont (2002) and Saint-Petersburg (2003) with the participation of 320 pastelistov from 28 countries of Europe and the United States. American Pastel Society (Pastel Society of America) awarded the prestigious title of member of the "Hall of Fame". He is the Creator and head of the international project "Saint Anastasia – a hope for peace."
