Architect, artist, academician. Honored architect of the RSFSR.

Studied with V. A. Shchuko. Chief architect of the "Lemetropole".

In 1939 he received the title of artist-architect for the project of the seaport in Leninrade (workshop N.. Trotsky).

In 1946 and 1949 he taught At the Moscow architectural Institute in the 1950s – 1960s in Leningrad engineering-construction Institute,

c 1967 – at the Institute. I. E. Repin.

Since 1975, the candidate of art criticism.

Among the major buildings: the House in Petrozavodsk (1947 – 1949), the fashion House at the Kirov Avenue (1967), metro station "Technological Institute" (1955), "Kirovskiy Zavod" (1955), "Lenin Square" (1958), "Park Pobedy" (1961), administrative building

with the entrance of the metro station "Moskovskiye Vorota" (1961).
