In 1958 he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. I. E. Repin, the workshop of Y. Neprintsev. Participated in exhibitions since 1958. Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1960. He painted portraits, landscapes, genre scenes, was engaged in monumental painting. The artist's works are in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
