Biography and information

Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Laureate of the State prize of the RSFSR in the field of architecture.

Painter, graphic artist, restorer. People's artist of the RSFSR, laureate of the State prize, winner of the Gold medal of the Academy of arts.

Studied in art-industrial College at the higher art school of V. N. Kuchumov, V. A. Kuznetsov, D. I. Kiplik.

Before the war was restored scenic decor Shuvalov, Yusupov, Stroganov palaces, and painted the workers ' clubs, Palaces of culture, sanatoria. Posted a mosaic of "the Periodic table" Mendeleev on the house № 17 in the Moskovsky prospect (1935).

In the postwar period took part in the restoration of monumental painting of the Kirov (now Mariinsky) and Maly (now Mikhailovsky) Opera houses, halls of the Hermitage and the Russian Museum, pavilions and palaces of Oranienbaum, Tsarskoe Selo, the churches of Novgorod, Pskov and Suzdal. In 1950 – 1970-e years he headed the restoration of wall-paintings in the Pavlovsk Palace.

Your easel works Treskin was created under the influence of old masters paintings and monumental-decorative art of the XVIII – XIX centuries.

Treskin works are in museums of St. Petersburg and private collections.
