riveli me to the Yalta painter V. P. Tsvetkova. She began to teach me. It is necessary to grow up in a small town in the middle of the silent sleepy streets lined with bow-legged dogs, to understand how the focus of light, life, there are workshops: conversations about art, ease of mind and clothes, the taste of the first still lifes and first read Baudelaire... In Moscow, I came here immediately after school.
Such a sharp contrast of climate, life, the very essence of human relationships as if stunned and crushed me. Although there was a marvelous feeling: dizzying world of new concepts, people, music, museums were opened in front of me.
In 1983 I graduated from the Moscow polygraphic Institute. In 1987 he became a member of the youth Association of the USSR Union. College years were a continuous struggle for survival. But the Institute gave me the opportunity to meet and learn from wonderful teacher and artist J. K. Burdzhelyana.
It may seem strange it is the happiest time for me came with the arrival of these difficulties, when without money, without an apartment, I wrote in other people's workshops, a small, endangered villages under a gray sky, in a narrow with shiny flanks kitchens, cottages... And earned a living, where possible.
The greatest miracle I believe my friends, looked after me all these years.
The greatest miracle, I think life itself, every day, every moment, every second!
The painting became so irresistible, imperative, inseparable from me a need that is difficult, it is impossible to talk about it.
What affects me, what is my essence? Like a tree the rain, wind, sun — everything goes to the cause! Internally I see myself standing in amazement at the superhuman strength and tenderness of the world. Rather I would call his work the words of P. Florensky — "Eternal acquisition".
