Lisa Ray is a Russian surrealist artist. Born in the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan.
She graduated from art school in Almaty and Alma-Ata State University, faculty of FIPI.
After completing her studies at an art school, she worked as a teacher of painting at the House of Works and Studios at the Union of Architects. 2 years working in the "X-gallery" under the artistic direction of G. Serdyukov. In the same period, actively exhibited in the same gallery and participated in exhibitions of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan.
Then she moved away from the fine arts for many years: she led several dance groups, worked as a ballet dancer, was the host of show programs.
By brush back in 2008.
Since 2016 she has been living and working in two cities: Almaty and St. Petersburg.
