Ekaterina Kudryavtseva was born in Moscow. With 14 years he studied drawing in the Studio of I. P. Zakharova and painting of A. Vasnetsov. In 1979-1984 he studied at the Moscow polygraphic Institute in the faculty of HTOP in A. Vasnetsov and D. S. Bisti. In 1990-1991 fellow of the Association of artists for a series of works "hospital". In 1995-accepted to Moscow Union of artists. Since 1979, the participant of many exhibitions in Moscow and abroad, including 26 solo - at the U.S. Embassy in 2009; at the Museum-apartment of A. M. Vasnetsov, the branch of the State Tretyakov Gallery, 2010; the memory of the teacher A. V. Vasnetsov, in the State Institute of art, 2010; in the gallery "Cinema", 2011; in the gallery "T" together with Peter Grigoriev "30 years together", 2013; at St. Seraphim-Znamensky skete of the women's, 2015. A participant of the anniversary exhibition "80 years of Moscow Union of artists" in Cha and House artists of 2013 and the exhibition "World of painting" in Zelenograd, 2014. In the Artplay design center, "East Meets West Gallery" together with Peter Grigoriev "Sun one", 2015, and together with Anatoly branch "vremena goda Different angles. Portrait and not only", 2016; exhibition of pamati Archpriest Vyacheslav Reznikov, "Peter Grigoriev, Ekaterina Kudryavtseva," at Orthodox Institute of Saint John the theologian 2016. In 2005 he was awarded a silver medal of a name of M. Y. Lermontov "For personal contribution to the national multi-ethnic culture and strengthening Russian statehood." Cooperates with galleries "Person", "East Meets West Gallery", "Entourage", "Wise-Art". In 2014 he released the album "Artists Peter Grigoriev, Ekaterina Kudryavtseva" in a series of academician of ARTS M. A. chegodaevoy is "My Art".
