Biography and information
Mikhail Verkholantsev was born in 1937 in Moscow.
In 1961 he graduated from the Moscow Higher Industrial School of Arts (former Stroganovskoe).
Member of the Moscow Union of Artists,
Creative Union of Artists of Russia, Union of Artists of Russia.
Honored Artist of Russia.
Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts.
He was awarded prizes and medals at the international graphic biennale in Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, Turkey, Poland, China.
He was awarded the silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts, the gold medal of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, the medal of the Moscow Union of Artists "For Merits in the Field of Fine Arts",
