A large-scale exhibition takes place in the pavilion "Worker and Collective Farm Girl" of VDNH
"Collection of the Ulyanovsk Art Museum: Polenov, Plast, Picasso and not only".
The exhibition presents more than 90 works of fine and decorative art, created from the late 18th century to the 70s of the 20th century from the collection of the Ulyanovsk Art Museum.
Part of the exhibition is dedicated to a native of Simbirsk province (today - the Ulyanovsk region), one of the most prominent Soviet artists - Arkady Plastov. The exposition also includes paintings by Natalia Goncharova, Konstantin Yuon, Yuliy Klever, Konstantin Bogaevsky, Vasily Vereshchagin and other famous classics of Russian art. A big surprise for visitors will be a collection of Pablo Picasso ceramics: panels, vases, decorative plates of the 1950-1970s.
