Museum complex to them. AND I. Slovtsova invites to the exhibition“We are the heroes of the day”.
The exposition is widely represented by the works of famous Tyumen artists of the “sixties”, including: O. Shrub, V. Ovcharov, A. Sedov and G. Tokarev.
The exhibition presents works of different periods and different contents: the conquest of the North, a military theme, landscapes, portraits, still lifes, genre scenes from the lives of ordinary people. Including and “landscapes-moods” G.N. Tokarev. The main line of his work is the world of a leaving village, for which he was a fan of his soul. The series of paintings dedicated to this topic touches to the core. Tokarev keenly felt the poetry and beauty of Siberian nature, which became the main theme of his work.
