The exposition presents more than 200 exhibits - memorial items, unique archival documents, regalia, magnificent examples of ceremonial weapons, outstanding works of jewelry, paintings, graphics, sculptures, glyptics, medals and coins, scientific instruments that belonged to Peter I, items from his “Chinese ”And the“ Siberian ”collections, as well as rare book editions and drawings, fixing the composition of historical, artistic and scientific collections of Peter, which formed the basis of the first Russian public museum - Kunstkamera.
The purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate the significance and revolutionary nature of Peter's transformations in patronizing the arts and sciences. The exhibition project is international in nature. Unique exhibits from their collections will be provided by museums in Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Active participation in the project is taken by Russian museums, archives and libraries.
