The exposition consists of paintings, drawings and sculptures of famous masters of domestic art.
Socialist realism arose at the beginning of the twentieth century in Russian literature. Its founder was the writer and public figure A.M. Bitter. It was he who correlated the personality of a person, his private life with the course of history, with the main trends in social life. Realism A.M. Gorky carried the romance of striving for the future, awakening the creative energy of the people. After the revolutionary events of 1917, when the Soviet state arose, socialist realism began to take shape as a special creative method in the visual arts and was actively spread in many areas of creative activity. Art reflected the life of the state with a new social system, which put at the forefront a human worker, the pathos of creation. At the heart of the best works of artists of socialist realism - the truth of life and historical optimism, craftsmanship, formed on the traditions of classical art.
