Treasures of St. Peter's Gallery

The Residence Gallery in the halls of the DomQuartier Palace invites you to visit the exhibition"Treasures of the gallery of St. Peter".

Visitors will be able to see one of the oldest cathedral galleries in Europe, decorated with paintings from the collection of Archbishop Guidobald Earl Thun.

Among the exhibits are the works of authors from the 17th century to the present day, including paintings of a prominent representative of the Baroque era Paul Troger (1698-1762). In the exhibition you can see unique scripts - "Christ on the Mount of Olives" and "Madonna Doloros".

The gallery is crowned by the work of a modern Austrian author - Herold Touche, baroque vases "Silver Clouds", symbolizing the connection between heaven and earth, spiritual and physical principle.
