Joaquin Sorolla House Museum holds an exhibition"Women of Joaquin Sorolla".

The exhibition features paintings by a Spanish artist, choosing a woman as the main image.

This exhibition reflects the worldview of Sorolla and the Spanish society of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, builds an idea of the feminine principle through numerous images in their daily life, illustrates stereotypes and myths about women. On the canvases of the great Spaniard, visitors can see and reflect on a mythical woman, femme fatale, innocent woman, hardworking woman, aristocrat and bourgeois woman, mother, devout woman or ... an ordinary woman.
