Ruth Buchanan. Tonight's Dream

Basel Museum of Art holds an exhibition "Ruth Buchanan. Today's Dream.".
Visitors will see a unique, specialized exhibition by the artist, for which the author has developed her own specific creative "language. Ruth Buchanan's paintings and installations are located throughout the museum, from signage systems to architectural interventions, inviting a rethinking of the participation and influence of art in shaping public life.
When does the present begin? What story is shown? How did my body end up here? Where will I return to? All these questions were the starting point for the exhibition project and serve as an occasion for deep reflection on the forms of museum functioning in contemporary society.
