Biography and information

Was born in the town of Bezhetsk in middle class family. Studied in Bezhetsky district school, then in high school in Tver. Without completing her course, returned to the City and here along with his brother, a painter, was engaged in writing of images. In 1824, working with his brother in St. Nicholas Terenskom center, met with Alexei Venezianov, which invited Alexei to study at your art school in the village Safonkovo. Upon graduation, Venetsianov satisfied Tyranova a volunteer at the Academy of fine arts. In 1839 he received the title of academician, and in September went to Rome. In Petersburg, he returned in 1842.

At the end of life being in extreme need, he moved to Kashin to his brother, where he died August 3, 1859.

A. V. Tyranov - one of the most talented students Venetsianov A. V., portraitist and genre painter. Coming to an independent road, he could not resist fashion and various life temptations and became one of those Venetsianov called "lost people."

Tyranov was born to a poor middle class. In adolescence, wrote the icons. In 1824, his work saw the accident Venetsianov for "extraordinary ability" took to her school student. In 1836 Tyranov is apprenticed to K. Brullov and enjoys his manner. Dubelt", 1839; "portrait of an unknown woman in a purple shawl", "Portrait of E. P. Kovriginoj", both in the 1830s). In 1839-43 G. Tyranov as a pensioner AH worked in Italy.

Madly in love with one of his Nudes, he brought her to Petersburg. Apparently, this passion and killed the artist. A year later, stripped and abandoned lover, the artist was in the hospital. To recover from this blow of fate, he could not. His later works - "the Italian" (C. 1851), "the Struggle for the soul (angel, trampling the evil spirit). Allegory" (1850-e) - lifeless and deliberately academic. In 1859, seriously ill with tuberculosis, Tyranov goes to his brother in Kashin, to die there.
