Russian Soviet painter, graphic artist, painting on fabric, teacher.
In 1910-ies he received his primary art education at the art and craft of the OPH. From 1920 to 1927 worked in the workshops of the OPH,
where he studied sculpture at the V. V. Lishev, painting M. I. Avilov and A. A. Rylov, and
V. N. Fedorovich. After conversion workshops in art and industrial College graduated from the graphic faculty of the V. N. The Levitical. He received the title of artist technique book art and graphics.
Around the same time attended evening drawing Studio of the Central House of workers of arts, was part of the circle of disciples of K. S. Malevich, K. I. Rozhdestvensky,
V. M. Ermolaeva, L. A. Yudina, who became her husband.
From the late 20's and by 1967 he worked as a teacher of fine art in a variety of children's art schools in the Leningrad Palace of pioneers, the Institute of professional development of teachers. Head of the Department and sector of fine arts.
Only in retirement, he announced himself as an independent artist. Studying the diaries of her late husband, delved into the theory of the avant-garde, thinking about the problems of plastic language.
In 2004 he held the exhibition of M. pea in the Museum "Tsarskoye Selo collection".
