Franz Marc / August Mac. The Adventure of the "Blue Rider"

Exhibition March 6 − June 17, 2019
The symbolic works of the two main figures of German expressionism - Franz Mark and August Mack - became the main exhibits of the temporary exhibition at the Museum of Orangeries. The artists became close in 1910 on the basis of a common interest in French art and, in particular, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Gauguin and Fauvism, which they discovered during their stay in Paris.

Exposition “Franz Marc / August Mac. The Adventure of the "Blue Rider" »which will work until June 17, traces the work of both painters until their death in 1914 during the First World War.
