Soviet painter and graphic artist, people's artist of the USSR (1965), full member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1970).

He studied in Leningrad in the Academy of Arts (1934-38) with I. I. Brodsky. He teaches at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin (since 1948; professor since 1954).

The best genre paintings and etchings of Neprintsev, characterized by liveliness of characteristics, depict Soviet people at the front and in the rear during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-45. In a series of etchings "Leningraders" (1960-1967) Neprintsev with great drama conveyed the harsh and tragic everyday life of the besieged Leningrad.

Dr. works: "Hello, Leningrad!" (1947, Krasnodar Regional Art Museum named after A. V. Lunacharsky), "Rest after the battle" (1951, China; USSR State Prize, 1952); “Tram came to the front” (1964), “In memory of the fallen” (1967) - both in the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of the RSFSR Art Fund; "The Baltics" (tempera, 1970, Directorate of art funds and the design of monuments of the Ministry of Culture of the RSFSR); “Here the soldiers are coming” (tempera, 1971, Primorsky regional art gallery, Vladivostok).

He was awarded 2 orders, as well as medals.
