He graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Institute in 1972.

Honored artist of Russia.

Participant of numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

1980 - Prize at the all-Union book prize for the cycle of illustrations to the book "Ancient Russian poems collected Kirsch Danilov.

1988 – Diploma at the international Biennale in Banska Bystrica for a series of edging woodcuts to "the Captain's daughter" by Alexander Pushkin.

1997 – Award in the competition Tetterode Graphic (Holland) for etching triptych "Golgotha of Orthodoxy."

Works are in museums of Russian cities and foreign collections.
