Full member of the Russian Academy of Arts. People's Artist of Russia. Professor of Moscow State Art Institute. Poster. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

1927 Born in Moscow.

1953 Graduated from Moscow State Art Institute. IN AND. Surikov, workshop M.M. Cheremnykh and N.A. Ponomareva.

1953-1963 Creates socio-political posters, collaborating in the Izogiz publishing house. Works in collaboration with B. A. Uspensky until the mid-1980s.

1957-1980 Collaborates in the Agitplakat workshop of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

1960-1980s Creates theater posters, mainly for ballet performances of the Bolshoi Theater; creates a corporate identity for the Bolshoi Theater.

The author of many exhibition posters.

Since 1962, teaching at the poster workshop of the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikova.

1963-1990 Performs posters for the publishing houses Izogiz, Soviet Artist, Soviet Russia, Poster, etc.

1968 Designs the interior of the international poster Biennale exhibition in Warsaw.

1970 Awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR.

1970-1972 Creates a series of graphic works dedicated to the people of Karelia.

1973 Awarded the Silver Medal of the Studio. M. B. Grekova.

1980 Awarded the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR.

1982 Professor.
